Our Esthetician Program, is a wonderful course that can teach you many different skills.
With the best techniques in the Seattle area, It is a great opportunity for anyone who is interested in a potential beauty related career and looking for flexibility and great leadership.
Currently with COVID-19 regulations, Washington State licensing (DOL) requires 750 hours of total training with 50% of hours individual and the rest 50% of hours online. You can log into Vuu’s online training system website to maintain your hours & 75 hours can be done for apprenticeship when you achieve your 90% hours at our school.
● G.E.D or High School Diploma (NOT REQUIRED)
● Age Requirement has to be age 17 or older.
● Vuu students are required in person 2-3 days out of the week, while the rest of the hours are completed online.
*The Esthetician program, student’s are trained on the topics of the following below:
- 1- Skin care – Facial, Facial Massage Techniques, Manual Extractions Tools & Skin Care
- 2- Eyelash Extensions; Classic, Volume, Hybrid and Mega Lashes. (mapping, styles, curls and more basics.
- 3- Teaching how to properly use tweezers terminal hair
- 4- Learning how to safely dermaplan on mannequins – Dermaplaning Vellus Hair.
- 5- Understanding Hair Growth and Follicle stages.
- 6- Business Class – Scheduling appointments, Building Clientele, Sales Rep, Business owner, Networking, building platforms, Meeting business owner’s and much more.
- 7- Production consultation, M.S.D.S and Basic Knowledge.
